Musical Theatre and Popular Voice

Workshops will offer students the opportunity to perform and receive feedback in a MasterClass, combined with a presentation/demonstration by the Adjudicator, relevant to the ages and levels of the students attending.

Workshops will be scheduled for approximately 4 hours max, but each student will attend for approximately 2.5 hours as they will be split into 2 groups for the MasterClass portion. There will be a cross over time in the middle for both groups which will include the presentation/demonstration as well as a social time.

Musical Theatre and Popular Voice workshop takes place on Sunday February 25th beginning at 1pm. Full schedule details will be sent to participants following the close of registration for the workshop.

Accompaniment is required for this workshop. You may bring your own accompanist, or you may purchase the Accompaniment Package add-on. This will provide you with a 15 minute rehearsal with our accompanist prior to the workshop and then accompaniment through the workshop on February 25th. For those selecting the accompaniment packages, there will be 2 dates to choose from for rehearsal - Thursday February 22nd from 3:00 - 5:30 and Saturday February 24th from 9 - 11:30. Rehearsals will be scheduled through the Festival office.

Junior Piano
