Workshops
PFWW Piano
Our Piano workshops takes place as follows:
Junior - at Westside Church on Saturday February 28th beginning at 9:15pm. Our adjudicator/clinician will be Kimberley Sundell.
Senior - at Hiway Church on Saturday March 28th beginning at noon. Our adjudicator/clinician will be Rudin Lengo.
Full schedule details will be sent to participants following the close of registration for the workshop.Each workshop will be 4 hours in length, but students will be divided into 2 groups and will attend for approximately 2.5 hours.
The preFestival Winter Workshops are offered as an opportunity for students to share their 'work in progress' as they are preparing for the current Festival and get valuable feedback from the previous year's adjudicator in order to help guide their work in polishing this year's pieces. Please note that you do not need to look at these as requiring polished performances. The goal is to give you feedback upon which you can act and make improvements prior to April. Students may play one piece in its entirety or parts of 2 pieces. They are encouraged to work with their teacher to determine what it would be most valuable for them to play to get feedback on.
Workshops will offer students the opportunity to perform and receive feedback in a MasterClass, combined with a presentation/demonstration by the Adjudicator, relevant to the ages and levels of the students attending.
Workshops will be scheduled for approximately 4 hours max, but each student will attend for approximately 2.5 hours as they will be split into 2 groups for the MasterClass portion. There will be a cross over time in the middle for both groups which will include the presentation/demonstration as well as a social time.

| Class:PFP-J - PreFestival Winter Workshops - Junior Piano This workshop is for students at levels equivalent to RCM Level 6 and lower. Students at Level 7 and up should register for the SENIOR workshop. Workshop will take place on Saturday February 28th, 2026 from 9:15am - 1:15pm at Westside Evangelical Lutheran Church. | Class:PFP-S - PreFestival Winter Workshop - Senior Piano This workshop is for students at levels equivalent to RCM Level 7 through RCM Level Diploma/ARCT. Students at Level 6 and below should register for the JUNIOR workshop. Workshop will take place on Saturday March 28th, 2026 from noon - 4:00pm at Hiway Church. There will be 2 shifts that students will be scheduled into within this time period. Adjudicator Rudin Lengo will be joining us to facilitate the workshop! | Regular:$35.00 | Closed |
